I wish to take this opportunity and thank all of my students for their wonderful behavior on the field trip.

Here is an overview of this week:

Monday- Assemble cereal boxes and complete rubric. Geography review.
Tuesday-Germany- Miss Fortune has lesson for Tuesday and Wednesday
Wednesday_Germany
Thursday- Test on Western Europe and D.E.A.R.
Friday- We will be watching the movie titled Paperclips. You may bring a snack and a drink.

Those of you that need to take a test or quiz, need to see me by the end of the week.

I found this photo on Google. If I selected the Netherlands, this would be a great photo for the front of my cereal box. Remember, tomorrow you need your cereal box. You can look for a suitable photo this week.You will also need to print out the material from the CIA factbook on your country. Here is an example. If you cannot open this, go to the CIA factbook.

We will be using the material from the CIA factbook as a secondary source and our book will be used as a supplement. You will be applying your summarizing skills while creating this box. We will do all of the summarizing in class. The typing will be done at home. This project should take a week.

Homework - Please bring in a painted cereal box by Monday, November 6th. Discuss with your parents your sample ballot. We will be voting on-line tomorrow. Tomorrow we will select a European country for your research project.
