I have made a tenative schedule for our classes. This will give all of you an opportunity to get ready for your Canadian project and see our timeline for presentation work.
Tentative Schedules
Week of April 23rd-27th
Monday: Canada – Population Distribution –Partner work
Tuesday- all tasks from Webquest – climate, natural resources, etc. Partner work.
How do these geographical themes define a place?
Wednesday - Choose a territory or province for your presentation. /
Homework – Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday- gather at least four sites and materials that you can read about your province or territory. This counts as four homework grades. This is due Monday, April 30th.
Thursday and Friday- Australia-Continue sections of Chapter 7.
Week of April 30th-May 4th
Monday-Bring in articles you intend to use for your presentation. Note: Not the poster board, just the written articles and pictures.
Tuesday-Time given in class to read articles, highlight information of interest and citing your resources.
Wednesday- Begin an outline and/or rough draft of presentation.
Note: Take home your materials; begin putting together your presentation. Projects will be presented May 7th-9th.
Thursday and Friday-Oceania
Week of May 7th-May 11th.
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday- Canadian Webquest Presentations.
Thursday and Friday-Great Barrier Reef

Review Five Themes of Geography
Today we began our review for the CRCT.
Regarding the Canadian Webquest: On Thursday, I will collect the folders and we will continue the Webquest after the CRCTs.
Thursday-We will do a History of Canada and a review of geographical terms.
