Most of you did not have time to answer the essay portion of our test today in class; therefore, you may do this part at home to turn in on Monday. It must be at least three paragraphs - introduction, body, and conclusion.
The question is: What is matter? Does matter matter?
You may use your notes and websites to help you with your answer. Typed would be nice!!!

We will be reading from the following website to begin our study of Earth Science. It is not homework unless you do not finish it in class on Monday. You do not have to take Cornell notes on this reading.

Due to testing and changed schedules our plans have changed somewhat. The assigned reading and Cornell notes on atoms and the periodic table are now due by Tuesday, September 12 for periods 1st, 2nd, and 3rd and on Wednesday, September 13 for periods 6th and 7th. There will be two class periods of time to do this for all periods. If you do not finish in class, you will have to go to the link below to complete the reading and note taking.
Furthermore, we will start our exploration of atomic structure and organization next week. Since we have already observed a physical change, we will now complete a lab to observe a chemical change on Friday.
