The movie for HW is not required. As mentioned in class, you were to check with your parents first. Also, I encourage you to talk to your parents, grandparents, etc. about their opinions on Global Warming.

Prentice Hall is requesting that you make every effort to keep their content within the school district. In other words, students, teachers, and parents are the only ones who should receive this link!
Prentice Hall is still working on the SuccessNet issues. In the mean time, students can access the books directly by clicking on the following links:

I understand that there have been several issues with the on-line texts. Please remember that you can get the information from other sources such as notes, worksheets, websites, or my unit PowerPoints. The textbook is just one place to look for answers and not always the best one!

We will be reading from the following website to begin our study of Earth Science. It is not homework unless you do not finish it in class on Monday. You do not have to take Cornell notes on this reading.

Finally!, Mr. de Vries writes:
Ethel,
Your students have a series of good questions. Sorry for the delay.
I was in USA at the time when it was sent. Some weeks later I tried answering this email but found I was doing it no justice and abandoned my response.
However please find attached a good article on geosequestration which I think your students or new students (new school year now) can get some authoritive answers.
Cheers
Don
The article is from Nature magazine, and I am having trouble getting the file to attach. Will try to post later. Meanwhile, check out these websites.
