First, I want to thank all of the parents for coming in to discuss their student's progress. It was nice getting to know some of you better.
Now, this week we will begin our study on rocks. Please see the agenda and notes below. Remember that many of the icons on the PowerPoint are links!

Due to testing and changed schedules our plans have changed somewhat. The assigned reading and Cornell notes on atoms and the periodic table are now due by Tuesday, September 12 for periods 1st, 2nd, and 3rd and on Wednesday, September 13 for periods 6th and 7th. There will be two class periods of time to do this for all periods. If you do not finish in class, you will have to go to the link below to complete the reading and note taking.
Furthermore, we will start our exploration of atomic structure and organization next week. Since we have already observed a physical change, we will now complete a lab to observe a chemical change on Friday.
