We have finished our mini unit on figurative language.

Please encourage your child to finish his/her biography book by this Friday and update the log.

We are in the process of finishing our narratives in class.

The adjective and adverb unit starts Thursday.

There is no spelling test this week.

October 3rd

I look forward to seeing some of you during conference week.Report cards will be handed out at this time.

We are currently working on types of sentences, fragments, and run-ons.

Reading logs and reading comprehension continue to be a focus for us. Drawing conclusions, making judgments, and making predictions.

Our narrative compositions will be done next week.
