Parents,
I still need a lot of help on Tuesday, Dec. 5th to get the candle orders placed in bags and boxes for pickup that afternoon and evening. If you can help please contact me either by email at Irene.Smith@cobbk12.org or 770-928-5546 ext. 458. I have one mom that has volunteered to help but I need at least 5 for that afternoon and 5 in the evening. Please contact me if you can offer your help for any part of the day or evening. Thanks.

If you were a choral or general music student that sold candles they will arrive at our school the week of December 4th. Pick up day will be Tuesday, December 5th. I WILL NEED PARENT VOLUNTEERS TO HELP WITH THE CANDLE ORDER DISTRIBUTION. If you can offer to help that day or evening please let me know by sending me an email, Irene.Smith@cobbk12.org, or calling me at ext. 458. I will need lots of helpers that day to make everything run smoothly for pick up.

The Mabry Singers 6th grade chorus will practice on Tuesday, Nov. 21st, 28th, Dec. 5th and 12th. Our concert will be here before you know it on Dec. 14th so we need to work hard these next four weeks.

Our next holiday choral concert will be Thursday evening, December 14th at 7 p.m. in the theater. (Students need to arrive between 6:30 -6:45 p.m. for roll call.)This will be a much shorter concert than the fall concert being that we only have a few weeks to prepare. Students may wear holiday Santa hats, antlers or other cute headbands for this concert. Invite your neighbors and friends to this concert to get everyone in the holiday spirit. We will feature a wide variety of holiday songs for the many different traditions celebrated this season. See you all there.

Our first Fall Concert is this Thursday, November 16th at 7 p.m. in the theater. Students need to come to the chorus room between 6:30 - 6:45 p.m. for check in and warmups. Wear your concert attire to this concert. It is a free concert and open to the public.

All Chorus students need to turn in their fundraiser order form and order tally sheet (white) along with their one check made out to Mabry MS for the entire amount of the order. The check should match up with both the order form and the order tally sheet (white). Please verify all orders and amounts so that we don't have to send your forms back for corrections. This will help me out tremendously.
The Mabry Singers will turn in their forms and money tomorrow morning at their rehearsal. Please have everything ready for turn in as we need all of our rehearsal time for the concert this Thursday evening at 7 p.m. The rest of the choruses will turn in their forms/checks at their connection time.

Honor Chorus Students:
Don't forget to come to the rehearsal Thursday evening at 5:30 - 9p.m. at Mt. Bethel UMC on Lower Roswell Road, Marietta, GA
All students got a schedule for Thursday and Friday today in class.
This is a mandatory parts rehearsal. Bring your music.
On Friday:
Wear long blue jeans, bring your music folder and a pencil, money for dinner at Longhorns Rest. Drivers meet me in the main church lobby at 4:45 p.m. I'll make reservations.The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. in the sanctuary.You must be on time in the morning for check-in.

Due to the fact that there is no school for students on Tuesday, Nov. 7th we will hold rehearsal at 8:15 a.m. on THURSDAY, NOV. 9TH instead.
Friday I will be at Honor Chorus all day so I will see you next Thursday instead of Tuesday.

Those students going to Honor Chorus on Nov. 9th (evening reh.) and Nov. 10th (All day) need to turn in their permission slip to Mrs. Smith by Nov. 8th. You will not be able to attend this event if I do not have your permission form.
