Trail of Tears

SKILLS: Examine and analyze events which led to the removal of the Cherokee Indians in Georgia; Describe people/events who shaped events in history during the early 19th century.

ASSESSMENT:
St. take notes after viewing documentary on the Trail of Tears; write a paragraph which summarizes events and state opinion of Indian Removal: Was it justified? Give reasons to support your opinion.
