The Civil War

7th Period Homework: Create a mini-poster for Lincoln's campaign and complete Main Idea on page 188 in textbook after reading p. 184 - 188 (Ch 13).

All other classes: No new homework - ALL Antebellum Projects should have been turned in today. Students who did not finish tests in 1st and 2nd period should come in early to finish essays. 3rd PERIOD must retake this test (another form) due to widespread cheating that went on during test.

All classes will start CH 13 - THE CIVIL WAR.

ANTEBELLUM TEST

NEW HOMEWORK: ALL STUDENTS SHOULD STUDY FOR THE TEST OVER ANTEBELLUM PERIOD (Ch.11 and 12) Study notes, PowerPoint Presentations on my blog (previously posted)
The test has been moved to MONDAY (Ms. Haag, our counselor, will talk to students about high school registration on Friday during Social Studies.
Also - Periods 1 - 6 should turn in PROJECTS on Monday.
Bonus points will be given if students can give 3 facts about Thomas Cobb (info. in Ch. 12 in textbook).

NOTE: I previously tried to post 3 blogs that never posted - they are still in draft form (using the MAC)and say they are publishing, but do not appear on my blog. I am trying to find out what the problem is; in the meantime, I will try to post from my home PC computer but it may not be until later in the evening when I actually get home. I am very sorry and frustrated. I described our song assignment and posted homework assignments for the past 3 nights.

Cartoon strip - minimum of 12 frames

**Students may come up with their own product (these are only suggestions)
