SKILLS: Describe the causes of and impact of the Great Depression on Georgia
ASSESSMENT: Notes and discussion of Powerpoint Presentation
HOMEWORK: All students received the EXAM STUDY GUIDE today - They should begin answering questions using their notes/prior handouts and textbook. The Guide questions are DUE ON MONDAY, May 22. The Social Studies Exam will be on WED. May 24 - it is comprehensive and will count 10% of total grade in my class. Students should also read pages 262 - 267 in textbook to understand the Great Depression.

Read the summary of The War to End All Wars (on handout) and complete matching on worksheet (attached).

HOMEWORK: 3rd period - Study for QUIZ over WWI (will be oral quiz in class on Thursday) Read pages 254 -257 and study notes to prepare.
7th period - Read pages 256 - 257 in text and complete Main Idea questions on p. 257
ALL classes - Study notes and textbook pages to prepare for Test on Friday (over WWI and turn-of-century)

SKILLS: To identify key players and underlying causes of WWI
ASSESSMENT: Oral Discussion and Chart (ranking countries)
HOMEWORK: 1st - 6th periods: All students should complete the WWI Map Worksheet (front and back) Refer to page 256 in textbook. EVEN students who missed my class due to EOC testing today should have come by to get the worksheet to complete. IF students did not get a worksheet, they need to ASK for it on Wednesday and complete it for HW.
7th period: No homework tonight! Students in 7th had a quiz over WWI today.
