Geography Projects - WOW!

I AM SO IMPRESSED with the GA Geography projects! I know the majority of students worked diligently to produce such professional-looking products.
THANKS to all parents who provided support (and money in some cases). Students have been presenting their projects in class, so everyone is reaping the benefits from the information. The projects will be displayed in my classroom during Open House.

SKILLS: Identify the five regions of Georgia and determine how the geography and climate affect the economy and development of GA

ASSESSMENT: Rubric used for grading individual projects (PowerPoint presentations, brochures, maps, poems, children's books)

HOMEWORK: All classes should study for Chapter 2 Test which will be given on Thursday, August 31. Students should study vocabulary and information on regions from textbook, from project presentations, and notes. A list of vocabulary words that should be defined by Thursday was given to students in class.
