The Westward Movement

First, I want to apologize and explain why my blog has not been posted for the last several days. I DID try to publish several, but we recently received new laptops, and many programs were not working properly on my new computer. I think we have adjusted the problem after a "HELP" session yesterday. Hopefully, this will post today!

SKILLS: To identify the 5 Georgia state capital cities and explain why the capital moved. To describe why Georgia's boundary changed. To explain how land was distributed in Georgia after the Revolutionary War.

ASSESSMENT: Study Guide Questions and Chapter 9 Multiple-Choice Test

HOMEWORK: If students took the test today, there is NO HOMEWORK. 2nd period students should study for the test! Study the typed notes on Ch. 9 and the Study Guide questions.

EXTRA CREDIT Homework for all classes: Watch the Presidential State of the Union Address tonight and write in ink or type approximately 4 paragraph summary of his main points. Your last paragraph should be your opinion of his speech. Do you agree with what he said? WHY? Was it a strong speech?

Points will be added to the last quiz grade or where needed.

NOTE: All Band students who will miss the next 2 classes were given their assignments today. They should be prepared with work completed on Friday.
Have a safe and fun trip!!
