HOMEWORK: Complete the Slavery/Missouri Compromise worksheets. Use website links below (last blog entry) to find information - DUE ON FRIDAY FOR ALL STUDENTS!!
Begin preparing for the test over Antebellum Georgia (Chapter 11) which will be on Wednesday, February 28th. A study session will be held on Tuesday morning before school at 8:15am (open to all students). Read the text (Chapter 11) and study notes and handouts from class.

ASSESSMENT: Written analysis and interpretation of song lyrics; Venn Diagram

HOMEWORK: Start searching for a song to share and planning slavery project. Students received description of this activity today - DUE DATE FOR SONG is February 14th. Lyrics must be brought and approved before student plays song.

Start reading Chapter 11 if you are absent on Friday. Read pages 156 - 159 in textbook and do questions on page 158.
