SKILLS: To describe important people, events, and battles of the Civil War; to analyze the events of the war and judge whether the war was necessary to build a strong nation

ASSESSMENT: Civil War Projects (students work in Mac Lab on a variety of projects, including PowerPoint Presentations, Scrapbooks, Journal/letters, websites, etc) A rubric will be used for assessing the projects.

HOMEWORK: Study for TEST OVER CIVIL WAR. A study session will be held for all students on Thursday (tomorrow) at 8:15. TEST IS ON FRIDAY. Study Chapter 13, Notes, and Study Guide Questions. Also, a PowerPoint on the Civil War is posted on my blog (see last week). Projects are due on Friday, but I will accept them after Spring Break with no penalty. Students have been working all period on projects this week in class.
