The New South

NOTE: Students have not received my progress reports yet since I had unexpected eye surgery on Saturday and was absent Monday and Tuesday. I am going to try to come in briefly Tuesday afternoon to run progress reports. All students should receive them on Wednesday. I cannot see very well at all so I cannot return emails yet. My husband is helping to post this. Thank you for understanding and being patient!

Skills: To identify and describe important people, events, and politics during the New South period. To compare/contrast Dubois's and Washington's viewpoints for Blacks to achieve equality.

Assessment: 1)Comparison/contrast worksheet : The Great Debate 2) Chapter 16 Locating Main Idea questions

Homework: No new homework if students finished these assignments. Students who were gone on the Chorus field trip should ask for The Great Debate if they did not get it prior to leaving.
