Timeline Due

Today your timeline is due. You will get 1/2 the class to finish it up and then turn it in. I hope to begin presentations of it on Tuesday.

We will continue to cover fossils this week with a possible quiz after we have discussed the vocabulary.

Remember, a tentative date for the chapter 9 test is February 2. That is subject to change should we not be as far a long as planned.

I am not there Monday but will return on Tuesday so be ready with your homework that is assigned for Monday night. Just in case you forget, you were to have read 9.1 in class and completed the corresponding pages in the workbook for homework.

See you Tuesday.

Mrs. S.

Week of January 8th

We are beginning to discuss the hydrosphere and what makes up this system. Packets from the textbook were given out today and the students need to read over them.

We will be associating weather of all types with how Earth's surface is shaped as well as how weather and atmosphere are related. Locations of fossils, how they got to their location and how to determine the fossils ages will also be covered.

A classwork grade was given today when the students made an acrostic using the word, HYDROLOGY.

I hope all had a great break.
