Just wanted you to know there is a good possibility that you will have a quiz on Friday over chapter 13, sections 3 and 4. We have been discussing these sections and will keep reviewing this week. It will be similar to the quiz you took on 13.1 and 13.2.

Next week we will hopefully complete chapter 14.

Hi All,

I am sorry to not have updated the blog. It has been "sick" like many of our students. Hopefully, it will be working now.

The students have been working the past 3 days on their workbooks so they can use them as their study guide for Chapters 13 and 14. This covers oceanography. We are now reviewing them and it will count as 2 classwork grades. The students were told it will be graded for accuracy. So all could have access to the book, it was done in class. After the review is completed, we will be discussing what was read and I will introduce some material I have that is not in the book. The students will have the opportunity to take notes on that as well as participating in some simple labs.

Progress reports go out next week and I-parent is up to date with all the grades with the exception of the timeline and the workbook pages. I am in the process of putting the timelines up on my walls for easier presentation so they may not get onto I-parent until the next 4.5 weeks. I'll do my best.
