From the looks of the numbers left, some did not. But, that could be good news. It means they spent their time wisely all last week as we worked on them in class.
I expect them no later than 12:30 tomorrow. They are to be turned in to me before connections so I can get them graded and in the grade book.

]]>I am sorry to not have updated the blog. It has been "sick" like many of our students. Hopefully, it will be working now.
The students have been working the past 3 days on their workbooks so they can use them as their study guide for Chapters 13 and 14. This covers oceanography. We are now reviewing them and it will count as 2 classwork grades. The students were told it will be graded for accuracy. So all could have access to the book, it was done in class. After the review is completed, we will be discussing what was read and I will introduce some material I have that is not in the book. The students will have the opportunity to take notes on that as well as participating in some simple labs.
Progress reports go out next week and I-parent is up to date with all the grades with the exception of the timeline and the workbook pages. I am in the process of putting the timelines up on my walls for easier presentation so they may not get onto I-parent until the next 4.5 weeks. I'll do my best.

Remember, a tentative date for the chapter 9 test is February 2. That is subject to change should we not be as far a long as planned.
I am not there Monday but will return on Tuesday so be ready with your homework that is assigned for Monday night. Just in case you forget, you were to have read 9.1 in class and completed the corresponding pages in the workbook for homework.
