6th Grade- Week 3

Students are deep into the Nutrition and Fitness Chapter and can expect a Unit Test next Thursday or Friday. We did a short "unpop-quiz" today to give students an idea of what they need to look over during the weekend. They completed nutrition journals this past weekend, cataloging everything they ate and drank, and did well with that assignment. Students are understanding what makes a healthy choice and what comprises the 5 basic food groups.

7th Grade- Week 3

Students have done line dancing all this week as part of our rhythms and dance unit. They have learned the Electric Slide and the Cha Cha Slide. Students created their own groups and will create their own dance, within specified guidelines, for a grade. They will have 3-4 days next week to create their masterpiece.

This training involved wall sits, speed ladders, and vertical/lateral jump drills.
