Algebra:
After having a long four day weekend, we came back and got right back on track! Today we discussed lesson 3.8 on Rates, Ratios, and Percents.

After our long four day weekend, I knew we needed some review of the material we covered last week. In class, we reviewed solving equations with addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Algebra:
Today we discussed lesson 3.5 on Linear Equations and Problem Solving. This lesson can get a little "tricky", so it will take practice. Don't give up too easily. The more you practice with word problems, the easier they become.

p.163-165 6-40
Pre-Algebra:
Today we discussed lesson 3/3 on Solving Equations by Multiplying or Dividing. Try not to get this confused with yesterday's lesson on Solving Equations by Adding or Subtracting. Take each problem step by step and show all work and check your solutions.

Today we discussed lesson 3.7 on Formulas and Functions. This concept can be a little "tricky", so practice, practice, practice! Some of you haven't finished your quizzes yet from lessons 3.1 - 3.4, so try to come in the morning.
