We had an in-class review today for the Chapter 8 Test which will be tomorrow.

We reviewed sections 11-1 and 11-3 today in preparation for our quiz tomorrow.
Homework is Skills 1 and 2 handed out in class today. Also review WB-P 11-1 for reading a protractor and drawing various geometric shapes.

We continued 11-3 today and learned about supplementary angles as well as the 8 special angle relationships formed when 2 parallel lines are but by a third line.

Today students had an opportunity to correct missed problems from yesterdays test and earn half credit for each correct answer.
Homework is to read and take notes on 11-1. This section is about geometric terms. Write the terms, define them, and give an example.

Students took the Chapter 6, Test #2 today. Those who did not finish the 14 question test will have no more than 15 minutes tomorrow to finish.
HW is 2 POW problems: pg. 324, problems 64 and 65. This is solving the problems using the POW format. DO NOT write a paragraph!

Today we applied what we've learned about multiplying and dividing fractions and decimal to solving equations and inequalities.
Homework is WB- 6-7, the left hand column. Show all work in notebook paper. You must show a check for the equations and graph the inequalities.
