Today students completed the test analysis for the chapter 12 test. Parents, please review your child's work, sign, and have your child return this tomorrow for a homework grade.
I gave out a worksheet that contains 32 common standardized test questions. If you did not complete this in class, please do so for homework.

Today we reviewed for the Chapter 11 Test which will be tomorrow. Student's will be allowd to use a calculator and their formula sheet on the test. BE PREPARED. This is the first test of the last nine week grading period!

Today we learned the formulas for finding volume of pyramids and cones.
HW is WB-P 12-8, all. WE WILL TEST ON CHAPTER 12 NEXT TUESDAY!! Please be sure your purple formula sheet has all of the formulas because you will be able to use it on the test.

HW is WB -P 11-6, all, and TB page 497, problems 11-14.
There is a quiz tomorrow and it will cover Sections 11-1, 11-2, 11-5, and 11-6.

Students learned how to find the surface area of triangular prisms and rectangular prisms.
HW is WB-P 11-5, all. Be sure to show your work on notebook paper. Write the formula for each problem, substitute values for variables, complete the calculations with a calculator, and round your final answer to the nearest 10th.

Today we discovered how to find the surface area of a rectangular prism. The formula is: SA = 2(lw) + 2 (lw) + 2(lw).
Homework is WB-P 12-5, problems 6,8, and 10. You must show at least 4 lines of work.

Today we learned the formulas for area of triangles, parallelograms, and trapezoids. Students were given a sheet of purple paper to write down the formulas along with a picture shape. They will be allowed to use this on quizzes and tests.
Homework is WB-P 12-1 all.
IMPORTANT: Students will be allowed to use a calculator with this chapter.

Today students took a quiz covering sections 5-1 and 5-2. I have graded the quizzes and posted the grades on I-Parent. Please check them.
Some students are not paying attention to instruction, not completing homework according to directions, not following the algebraic process, and not preparing for the quizzes as they should. Every student should be spending at least 45 minutes per night on BAG. If you should finish your homework assignment within the 45 minutes, go back and review other concepts that we have studied.

I collected signed test analysis' today. MANY STUDENTS DID NOT HAVE THEM. GET THEM SIGNED TONIGHT AND RETURN TOMORROW~!
We learned about the 8 special angles formed when 2 parallel lines are cut by a transversal and we learned how to classify triangles. We also learned how to find missing angle measures.
Homework is WB-P 5-1 and 5-2. There will be quiz covering these 2 sections tomorrow.
