We checked answers on the Final Reviews and I re-worked missed problems.
While there is no formal homework, I recommend that you re-work the entire review packet this weekend. Use your textbook to re-work the types of problems that you missed on the initial review. Work odd problems so that you can check your answers in the back of the book.
Eat a good supper on Sunday night, sleep well, and eat breakfast Monday morning! I have faith and confidence in each and every one of you! I know you'll do well on the final.

Today all students began an in-class review for their Final Exam. What was not finished in class should be completed for homework. We will review every problem on the review in class tomorrow,
Please be prepared with questions on any of the concepts that you don't understand. We will answers those questions in class.
The final exams for both classes will be on Monday and Tuesday of next week,

Today we reviewed the basics of multiplying and dividing decimals.
Homework is the worksheet on (x) and (/) decimals, 1-30 all.

Students got their Ch. Quiz back today and the grades are posted on I-Parent.
We started our review for the Final Exam. There is no formal written homework.
Tomorrow is the Diagnostic Test. This test will help with proper math placement as an 8th grader. Get a good night's sleep and eat a good breakfast tomorrow morning!

We checked homework on fractions and then started reviewing adding and subtracting fractions.
HW is the worksheet on adding and subtracting decimals, 52-90. Students were able to start on this in class, and some even finished!

We reviewed homework and then learned how to solve for a specific variable in equations that only contained variables.
HW is to review WS 3-7, problems 11-20 and complete WS pg. 119, 16 - 34, evens.
Tomorrow is DEAR and AM. Please bring reading material for 1/2 of the class period.

Also, classwork/homework is page 470, #41. Complete part a using the POW format and write a paragraph. Then, complete parts (b )and( c) using complete sentences.

It was great to be back in class today!
We completed the Test Analysis on Chapter 12. Please get that signed by your parents tonight and return to class tomorrow.
We learned how to solve equations with variables on both sides. Homework for tonight is Worksheet 3-7 (1,2,5,6,8,9,10,11,12,13,16,18,19,20).
Make sure to show your work on your own notebook paper!
Grade Sheets will be sent home Wednesday.

It certainly was good to be back in class today!
We reviewed for the Chapter 9 Test which will be on Wednesday. Homework for tonight is pg. 782, 1-6 (skip 4); 8-15; 17-23, 26 & 27. Complete an On-line Glencoe Test as a review, turn it in on Wednesday and earn 2 bonus points!
Grade Sheets will be sent home on Wednesday.
