Today we learned more about Dilations: enlarging and reducing geometric shapes by using a scale factor.
Class notes are below....
HW is the CRCT worksheet handed out in class today, problems 1 through 6. Show your work on notebook paper using the format we used in our notes. Graph problems 1 and 6, both the original shape and the dilation.
4th Period:
Your homework is to write 5 fraction multiplication problems. You must solve them and be prepared to share them with the rest of the class. You can not use any problems we used in class, or use the numbers 1 or 0 in your fraction.

The students took the quiz on Similar and Congruent Triangles.
There is no formal homework.
If you did not take the quiz today, check with your parents to let me know what mornings you are able to come in early (8:20 am) to make it up. I can not meet you until you have confirmed with your parents that they can bring you in.

Welcome Back Everyone!
It was so good to see each of your today and hear about your winter break activities and travels! You were busy and had a great time.
We did several things in class today:
1) Those of you who had not finished your Quilt Project had today to do so in class. It is due tomorrow: no projects will be accepted after tomorrow and
receive credit.
2) Read Chapter 11, Lesson 1, in your PA textbook
3) Complete the Vocabulary Organizer, giving specific definitions and examples for each term.
4) WB-P 11-1 : do not do the last three problems.
