Students learned how to add integers today.

Homework is WB 2-4 1 through 20 all. Make sure you write your problem on a separate sheet of paper, circle your terms, and show each step of multiple term problems.

I have postponed the Quiz until next Tuesday.

Students had an opportunity to finish their test today. Then, students completed a Test Analysis. We also worked on WS 1-1, Finding Addition and Subtraction Mistakes.

Homework tonight is to get the Test Analysis signed by a parent and complete WS 1-1.

Today we reviewed for the Chapter 1 Test which is tomorrow.

Class work/ Homework is pages 58-60 in your textbook, problems 8-49, all and problems 63-68. Make sure you write the problem and then solve showing all steps. The only problems you won't show work for are those involving solving equations using the inverse operation. You may solve these mentally.

We covered Section 1-6 today. HW is TB pg. 34, 15-33 odd, and 34. Write the problem and the answer.

Today we reviewed Section 1-5, The Distributive Property. Homework tonight is the Chapter 1 Quiz Review. The Quiz is tomorrow and will cover Sections 1-2 through 1-5. There is a help session with Mrs. Heiber in the morning at 8:15am. She will pick you up from the Study Hall at 8:15am!

Today students finished their Pre-Test, were able to work on their personal character, and were assigned textbooks.

The personal characters are due on Monday, and please have your textbook covered by Monday. The cloth bookcovers are the best!

Today we started on the PA Pre-Test. This grade will not be entered into the gradebook, and serves as an instrument that will monitor growth by the end of the year. Those who did not finish today will have an opportunity to finish tomorrow.
