I know the picture is very overexposed where the camera is pointed to the sun coming up over the Atlantic Ocean, but here is a 360º panorama. To view the panorama, simply click on the picture below. A new browser window will open at the full size of your computer screen. It will be filled with the panorama. QuickTime 7.x or higher is required as I used the H.264 codec to give the panorama file that loads the highest quality with minimum file size.
The file will take some time to download based on your connection speed. Once loaded, simply click and drag in the direction you wish to view. You can look all the way up and down and all around. The control and shift keys zoom out and in respectively.

Group One has boarded the buses and begun the journey back to Marietta. Group Two has safely arrived and already had their orientation class.

Here on our last day, we posed for a picture in front of the dining room. The poor students were being swarmed alive by gnats while getting in position for their picture. You can actually see one that flew just in front of the camera as I snapped the shot!

Day One - Pics from the Urchines
We made it here safely! School has never been more fun.
Group One safely arrived at Jekyll Island at noon. The weather is cool but beautiful! Students have already enjoyed their first classes, including trips the salt marsh and slough. Tonight, students will embark on night hikes on the beach and search for bioluminescent plankton.
