Mrs. Jackson
Mrs. Cindy Jackson is our 6th grade counselor. She also serves as the counselor for half of our 7th grade students. Mrs. Jackson has worked at Mabry for 7 years and is always extremely helpful. If you need to "bend her ear," she is eager to help you. Living in our community with a high school son and a college daughter, she will understand!
Prior to working at Mabry Mrs. Jackson taught Social Studies at every age level from 6th grade through adult education. She has her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Florida State University and the University of South Florida.
When she's not reading, redecorating the house, or watching old movies, Mrs. Jackson is having fun with a house full of teenagers. She is highly skilled at transforming our little 6th grade "babies" into responsible teenagers that are ready to face the challenges of high school.
Mrs. Jackson works with students to help them build their self-esteem while discovering themselves, their strengths, talents, and uniqueness. Her professional passions include helping children see that learning is just a whole lot of fun.
