Mrs. Lippincott
Mrs. Libby Lippincott teaches 6th grade math. This is her 13th year of teaching: 6 Years at Crescent High School in South Carolina and this her 7th year at Mabry. She coached volleyball and JV basketball while at Crescent High School and was even the Teacher of the Year there!
Mrs. Lippincott was awarded the Wal-Mart Teacher of the Year, which means a lot to her because it is awarded based on student nomination. Her family really believes in education. Her mother is a retired teacher. Her 2 older sisters are teachers in South Carolina (1 is an elementary school teacher and the other teaches preschool). Her brother is a high school teacher, teaching drivers education and PE. He also coaches 2 sports: football and baseball.
Mrs. Lippincott spends most of her free time with her 3 wonderful children and her husband! The boys are very involved with baseball, and her daughter enjoys dancing. Mrs. Lippincott's hobbies include playing tennis, and she loves to watch just about any sport (except golf, and soccer). She enjoys swimming and going to the beach.
She statest, "I love teaching math and enjoy showing students that everyone can learn math."
