Mrs. Morton
Mrs. Kim Morton is one of our outstanding special education teachers. She is a native of Marietta, Georgia and a graduate of Kennesaw State University with a BS in Secondary Social Sciences and Interrelated Special Education. She has been a teacher for 8 years total, 5 of which have been at Mabry Middle School.
Mrs. Morton enjoys cooking and is a big Rachael Ray fan. She has never missed an Atlanta Falcons game (either in the stands or watching it on TV). She greatly enjoys singing (and is really good actually!) and music. In fact, she said that she would try out for American Idol "if I wasn't sooooo old!" She would probably win!
Mrs. Morton loves to spend the summer at the beach and enjoys yearly family fishing trips. She caught the biggest fish she has ever caught this year.
She gives us these words to live by as educators:
