Ms. Miller
Mrs. Patricia Miller is teaching Seventh Grade Language Arts this year at Mabry. She earned her undergraduate degree at Western Michigan University. After attending Graduate School at San Diego State, Cornell University and Sam Houston University, she received her Masters in Education from Kennesaw State University. After completing another 36 hours of Graduate work, Mrs. Miller completed the requirements for certification in Educational Leadership in Texas. She is definitely a life-long learner!
The last few years she has worked at the Intermediate level in The Woodlands, Texas, and recently returned to the Atlanta area.
Mrs. Miller has been employed in the field of education for over 20 years and still looks forward to the beginning of school each year. She enjoys teaching as much as she does learning. She believes that her job is more than teaching a subject area, but to make a difference in student's lives. Students will not remember what they learned, as much as they will remember the connections they made during middle school.
Mrs. Miller is married and has two daughters in college. Jessica is at the University of Houston and Sarah is attending the University of North Texas. Outside of school, Mrs. Miller stays busy volunteering and supporting numerous charities, cooking, watching football and planning her next beach vacation.
